Expo Terms & Guidelines Overview

  1. Preparation and Updates

    • Participants must read all provided information thoroughly. Changes may occur, but updates will be communicated via email and social media. Ensure [admin@blackluxeco.com] is added to your email contacts to avoid missing updates.

  3. Inclement Weather Policy

    • The expo will proceed rain or shine. Exhibitors should prepare for all weather conditions and are strongly advised to bring a 10x10 tent.

  4. Venue Features

    • Located in downtown High Point, NC, the HP Theatre offers excellent visibility, sound, and lighting, partial dome covering, easy access to transport, and convenient parking with complimentary Wi-Fi but limited outdoor electricity.

  5. Arrival and Setup

    • General vendors arrive at 11:00 a.m.

    • Premiere vendors at 10:00 a.m.

    • Food Trucks at 10:00 a.m. in Lane D. Follow the map for guidance.

  6. Check-In Procedure

    • Park in the designated area, check-in at the registration table (alphabetically by business name), then proceed to your section for setup.

  7. Parking Information

    • Vendor parking is free at 307 E. Commerce Street.

    • Guest parking is available at Main St and Plaza Parking Decks at $1.00 per hour.

  8. Setup and Unloading

    • No parking under the terminal for unloading. Use carts or dollies for transportation. Volunteers will guide you to the loading area.

  9. Exhibitor Layout

    • Prime locations for Premier Exhibitors. Selection is based on sections, with no guaranteed spots for returning exhibitors.

  10. Breakdown and Cleanup

    • Early departure without emergency notice is not permitted. Ensure your area is clean and trash-free before leaving.

  11. Exhibitor Check Out

    • Officially check out at the registration table. Staff will inspect your area before departure.

  12. Space & Equipment

    • A 10x10 booth space is provided. You must supply your setup, including tents (with flat legs for concrete surfaces), tables, and chairs.

  13. Dos and Don'ts

    • Outdoor candle/incense lighting is permitted. Inside the gallery, attaching items to walls or indoor candle/incense lighting is prohibited, with fines for violations.

  14. Special Requests and Health Conditions

    • Accommodations will be attempted, but not guaranteed. This is an outdoor event; please consider health restrictions.

  15. Sales and Performance

    • No sales guarantee. The expo offers a platform and marketing, but the outcome of the sale depends on individual effort.

  16. Success Tips

    • Engage customers, collect emails, network, and ensure your booth stands out with creative decoration.

  17. Presentation and Body Language

    • Maintain a professional appearance and encourage booth visits with welcoming gestures.

  18. Brand Knowledge

    • Be ready to demo products and share your brand story confidently.

    • Avoid overcrowding your booth with staff to keep it inviting for customers.
